HISTORY
The Manchester Muslim Writers was launched the 8th of May 2009 at Shakespeare House in Manchester.
The Lancashire Muslim Writers was launched in Pendle, Lancashire on the 20th of November 2009.
Membership of the groups is free and open to all writers, irrespective of their background. Many non-Muslim writers are also members or attend the sessions.
The aim is to develop writers in all forms of creative and factual writing including poetry, the novel, screenplay, blogging and journalism.
