A number of authors and agencies have visited the Manchester and Lancashire Muslim Writers. Most notably:
MOZZAM BEGG
Moazzam Begg, the former Guantanamo detainee and author of “Enemy Combatant” visited the Manchester Muslim Writers on Wednesday the 8th of July. Moazzam is an inspirational and charismatic figure. His powerful autobiography is a must read. He is currently the spokesperson for Cageprisoners.

QAISRA SHAHRAZ
Qaisra Shahraz, one of the most successful Muslim writers of recent years, was a guest author on the 3rd of August 2009. For those unfamiliar with her work, you can read about her here:
